The Federal Government substantially invigorated its export enforcement efforts in 2008. Criminal prosecutions grew by over 40%, penalty levels significantly increased, new regulatory enforcement provisions were enacted and agencies issued new guidance on penalties and export compliance programs. All of these developments can be expected to continue in 2009.
This audio conference will be conducted by Mike Turner, former Director of the Office of Export Enforcement at the Commerce Department and an internationally recognized expert in the field of export enforcement and trade compliance. You can participate in this session right from the convenience of your own home or office. All you need is your phone!

- Insights on "hot button" enforcement issues for 2009
